Molding - Die Technician
Description:
- Follow PM Policy for Molding Machinery
- Support Daily Molding Operations and Machine Settings
- Troubleshoot Downtime in Molding Area
- Assist Molding Engineer as needed
- Ensure proper safety measures are in place and functional in molding
- Study Die Efficiency and Make - Implement plans for improvement
- Track Molding and Die Maintenance
Requirements Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience
- Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job duties or an equivalent amount of related education and experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 year college degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or other Engineering.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions, excercise good judgment and be highly motivated.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy.
- Improves manufacturing proficiency levels to meet plant goals and objectives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of organization as needed.
- Coordinates and recommends cost savings and efficiency ideas for the facility.
- Basic experience with Windows, MSWord, Excel and Powerpoint, intermedieate experience preferred.
